Population

• CHW is a person who is not a health worker but contributes to community health services.

• CHWs as part of the community.

• CHWs provide services to the community where they live.

• CHWs have or never received formal basic training (training certificates are recognised but not formal education programmes such as university certificates or courses).

• Community level.

• Health workers (nurses, midwives, doctors, other paramedics).

• Social CHWs.

• Peer counsellors (peer).

Intervention

Intervention is part of primary health services carried out by the government entities (health centres or clinics) or non government entities

Study interventions are intended for specific populations, such as victims of natural disasters, refugees, or nomadic communities

Comparison
