  1. a. Percentage of patients that reported any improvement of their complaints at follow-up.
  2. b. Pain intensity at follow-up as reported by the patients on an 11-point ordinal scale.
  3. c. Comorbidity: patients who were suffering from a chronic disease other than non-specific abdominal complaints in the year before baseline and were treated for this chronic disease by their GP.
  4. d. Absolute change scores; change between scores at baseline and follow-up
